NHICC is probably best known as the nonprofit organization that runs the New Hampshire and Maine affiliates of Destination Imagination.
Destination Imagination is an international program that begins at the start of each school year. Elementary, middle, high school, and university students form teams with up to seven members, and select one of the open-ended Challenges offered each year. Each team creates an action plan and works together for several months to develop a solution to the problem specified in their chosen Challenge. From the U.S to China, Poland, Colombia and Brazil, student creativity is unleashed in astonishing ways.
Since its inception in 1982, over 120,000 local students have participated in our creative problem-solving programs.
