New Hampshire Destination Imagination

NHICC is probably best known as the nonprofit organization that runs NH-DI, the New Hampshire affiliate of Destination Imagination.

Destination Imagination is an international program that begins at the start of each school year. Elementary, middle, high school, and university students form teams with up to seven members, and select one of the open-ended Challenges offered each year. Each team creates an action plan and works together for several months to develop a solution to the problem specified in their chosen Challenge. From the U.S to China, Poland, Colombia and Brazil, student creativity is unleashed in astonishing ways.

Destination Imagination is one of the most popular extracurricular school activities in New Hampshire, with about 2,000 student participants each year from schools and community-based organizations around the state. Since its inception in 1982, over 120,000 New Hampshire students have participated in our NH-DI creative problem-solving program.
